3500 BLOCK OF OLENTANGY RIVER RDCOLUMBUS

Felony Assault: On August 18, 2026 at 12:44 a.m., Columbus police officers were dispatched to the 3500 block of Olentangy River Road on a report of a shooting. On arrival, officers located the victim who had sustained a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local area hospital in stable condition and is expected to survive. The incident is still under investigation and it is not yet known what led to the shooting.
