Officers heard shots fired near 1400 block of SW Jefferson Street. ShotSpotter alert indicated 20 rounds fired. Adult male victim found with multiple gunshot wounds; pronounced deceased at hospital. Suspect vehicle fled striking and killing adult male pedestrian. Additional victim arrived at hospital with non-life-threatening gunshot wound to leg. Karon Hopkins (20) arrested 08/27/2026 for First-Degree Murder and Possession of Weapon by Felon.
