One person killed in officer-involved shooting. Officers responded to a high-priority welfare check for a subject who was suicidal and had a firearm. When officers arrived the subject was outside his apartment with a firearm. SWAT established a perimeter and negotiated. Officers perceived a deadly force threat and discharged their weapons. Subject died at the scene. No officers were injured. View Source
