NEAR 71ST AND MEMORIALTULSA

On July 19, 2026, around 4:15 a.m., Tulsa Police Officers responded to a [redacted] shots fired in front of the Flavourz lounge near 71st and Memorial. Security at the location reported a large crowd gathered in the parking lot drinking and one of the participants was showing off a gun. As security was on the phone, shots were fired in the parking lot and people started running from the scene. Officers arrived and found several shell casings but no victims. Around 4:30 a.m., a gunshot victim coming from Flavourz was brought to a nearby hospital. The victim, 47-year-old [redacted], later died. Homicide Detectives reviewed video surveillance at the scene of the shooting which showed the suspect, 28-year-old [redacted], leaving the scene. Our Fugitive Warrants Unit tracked Doyle down to an apartment near 81st and Yale. Officers arrived as Doyle was leaving the apartment and took him into custody. He admitted to the shooting but said the victim was causing problems at the party and tried to grab the gun [redacted] shot him. After consultation with the Tulsa County District Attorney’s Office, Doyle was booked into the Tulsa County Jail for Second-Degree Murder and Possession of a Firearm AFCF (After Former Conviction of a Felony).
