Man injured following shooting in Southwest Philadelphia

A man was shot around 9 a.m. on the 5900 block of Warrington Avenue in Southwest Philadelphia. Officers arrived to find an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. No arrests were made and the shooting remains under investigation.
