Man injured in shooting at Reading social club, police say

Reading police say a 37-year-old man was shot once in the leg at the Riverside Beneficial Social Club at 1742 Pear St early Sunday at about 2:33 a.m., apparently after a fight inside the club; he was found in the 100 block of Bern St and taken to Reading Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
