New Castle, Del. 19720 – On Saturday, September 12, 2026, at approximately 6:24 p.m., officers from the New Castle County Division of Police responded to the 100 block of Parma Avenue in the Arbor Place Townhouses community for a reported shots-fired incident. Upon arrival, officers located several fired cartridge casings on the roadway. Fortunately, no one was struck by gunfire. However, a vehicle was found to have been struck by gunfire. Detectives from the Division’s Criminal Investigations Unit responded to the scene and assumed the investigation. During their investigation, detectives identified a Subaru with a Pennsylvania registration plate and a Chevrolet Silverado with a Delaware registration plate as possible vehicles involved in the incident.
